To: YOU

Date: TODAY

From: THE BOSS

Subject: YOURSELF

Reference: LIFE

I am God. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help.

If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. It will be addressed in My time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it.

If you find yourself stuck in traffic; Don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.

Should you have a bad day at work; Think of the man who has been out of work for years.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; Think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; Think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away From assistance; Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; Think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.

Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; Remember, things could be worse. You could be them!!!!

Our body is like a washing machine,
our mind is like cloth,
each lifetime is one run or cycle,
and Knowledge is detergent.

The mind comes into the body to get cleansed and pure. But instead of detergent, if you use dirt, then you have dirty clothes.

Pure water is like love, Knowledge is like detergent, mind is like cloth, and the body like the washing machine. If you put in mud instead of detergent, your clothes become dirtier than before.

You will have to go on putting clothes in the washing machine to get them cleaned. And the process repeats again and again. Similarly you will have many more births until you stop repeating the mistakes that you have made.

Dear All,

Please read it .Its awesome..

It’s another morning...….. Again I have to go to office.Ohh, this is me… I shouted having a glance on my snap in today’s news paper. But what the HELL it is doing in the death column??........Strange……….

One sec... Let me think, last night when I was going to bed I had a
Severe pain in my chest, but I don’t remember anything after that, I
Think I had a sound sleep. Its morning now, ohh….. It’s already 10:00 AM, where is my coffee?

I will be late for office and my boss will get a chance to irritate me.
Where is everyone…??? I screamed.” I think there is a crowd outside my room, let me check.” I said to myself.

So many people….. Not all of them crying…But why some of them crying…

WHAT IS THIS??? I m laying there on the floor…

“I AM HERE” … I shouted!!! No one listen.

“LOOK I AM NOT DEAD” … I screamed once again!!! No one is interested
in me. They all were looking me on the bed. I went back to my bed room.

“Am I dead??” I asked myself.

Where is my wife, my children, my mom-DAD, my friends? I found them in the next room, all of them were crying… still trying to console each other.

My wife was crying, My little kid was not sure what happened, but he was crying just coz his mom was sad. How can I go without saying my kid that I really love him, I really do care of him. ??How can I go without saying my wife that she is really most beautiful and most caring wife in this world..??

How can I go without saying my parents that I m … just because of u ??How can I go without telling my friends that without them perhaps I
have done most of the wrong things in my life… thanks for being there always when I need them… and sorry for not being there when they really need me..

I can see a person standing in the corner and trying to hide his tears…
Ohh… he was once my best friend, but a small misunderstanding made us part, and we both have strong enough ego to keep us disconnect.
I went there.. And offered him my hand, “Dear friend… I just want to say sorry for everything, we r still best friend, please forgive me.”
No response from other side, what the hell?? He is still preserving his ego, I am saying sorry… even then!!!I really don’t care for such people.

But one sec…. it seems he is not able to see me!!!! He did not see
my extended hand. My goodness… AM I REALLY DEAD??? I just sat down near ME; I was also feeling like crying…

“OHH ALMIGHTY!!!! PLEASE JUST GIVE ME FEW MORE DAYS…”
I just wasn’t to make my wife, my parents; my friends realize that
How much I love them. My wife entered in the room, she looks beautiful.

“YOU R BEAUTIFUL” I shouted.

She didn’t hear my words; in fact she never heard these words coz I
Never said this to her.

“GOD!!!!” I screamed… a little more time plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..I cried…

One more chance please… to hug my child, to make my mom smile just once, to feel my dad proud on me at least for a moment, to say sorry to my friends for everything I have not given to them, and thanks for still being in my life….
Then I looked up and cried!!!!

I shouted….

“GOD!!!! ONE MORE CHANCE PLEASE!!!!”
"You shouted in your sleep," said my wife as she gently woke me up.
"Did you have a nightmare?"

I was sleeping….Ohh that was just a dream….

My wife was there… she can hear me…This is the happiest moment of my life…
I hugged her and whispered…. “U R THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND CARING WIFE IN THIS UNIVERSE…. I REALLY LOVE U DEAR”

I can’t understand the reason of the smile on her face with some
Tears in her eyes, still I m happy….

“THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS SECOND CHANCE.”

So, Now it’s not late.. Forget your egos, past…... and express .Your love to others………. Be friendly…………… keep smiling and be happy for ever…

Shout

'Why do we shout in anger?' A saint asked his disciples, 'Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?'

His disciples thought for a while, one of them said, 'Because we lose our calm, we shout for that.'

'But, why do you shout when the other person is just next to you?' asked the saint. 'Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you're angry?'

Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint.

Finally he explained, 'When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other through that great distance.'

Then the saint asked, 'What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small...'

The saint continued, 'When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two
people are when they love each other.

'MORAL' said the saint: 'When you argue do not let your hearts get distant, do not say words that distance each other more, else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return!'

Believe In Your Actions

We all have something to learn from this girl.

As a drought continued for what seemed an eternity, a small community of farmers was in a quandary as to what to do. Rain was important to keep their crops healthy and sustain the townspeople' s way of life.

As the problem became more acute, a local pastor called a prayer meeting to ask for rain.

Many people arrived. The pastor greeted most of them as they filed in. As he walked to the front of the church to officially begin the meeting he noticed most people were chatting across the aisles and socializing with friends. When he reached the front his thoughts were on quieting the attendees and starting the meeting.

His eyes scanned the crowd as he asked for quiet. He noticed an eleven year-old girl sitting quietly in the front row. Her face was beaming with excitement. Next to her, poised and ready for use, was a bright red umbrella. The little girl's beauty and innocence made the pastor smile as he realized how much faith she possessed. No one else in the congregation had brought an umbrella.

All came to pray for rain, but the little girl had come expecting God to answer. It is important to believe in our actions to succeed in life

Over the years as I've sought out ideas, principles and strategies to life's challenges, I've come across four simple words that can make living worthwhile.

First, life is worthwhile if you LEARN. What you don't know WILL hurt you. You have to have learning to exist, let alone succeed. Life is worthwhile if you learn from your own experiences - negative or positive. We learn to do it right by first sometimes doing it wrong. We call that a positive negative. We also learn from other people's experiences, both positive and negative. I've always said that it is too bad failures don't give seminars. Obviously, we don't want to pay them so they aren't usually touring around giving seminars. But that information would be very valuable – we would learn how someone who had it all then messed it up. Learning from other people's experiences and mistakes is valuable information because we can learn what not to do without the pain of having tried and failed ourselves.

We learn by what we see so pay attention. We learn by what we hear so be a good listener. Now I do suggest that you should be a selective listener, don't just let anybody dump into your mental factory. We learn from what we read so learn from every source; learn from lectures; learn from songs; learn from sermons; learn from conversations with people who care. Always keep learning.

Second, life is worthwhile if you TRY. You can't just learn; now you have to try something to see if you can do it. Try to make a difference, try to make some progress, try to learn a new skill, try to learn a new sport. It doesn't mean you can do everything, but there are a lot of things you can do, if you just try. Try your best. Give it every effort. Why not go all out?

Third, life is worthwhile if you STAY. You have to stay from spring until harvest. If you have signed up for the day or for the game or for the project - see it through. Sometimes calamity comes and then it is worth wrapping it up. And that's the end, but just don't end in the middle. Maybe on the next project you pass, but on this one, if you signed up, see it through.

And lastly, life is worthwhile if you CARE. If you care at all you will get some results, if you care enough you can get incredible results. Care enough to make a difference. Care enough to turn somebody around. Care enough to start a new enterprise. Care enough to change it all. Care enough to be the highest producer. Care enough to set some records. Care enough to win.

Four powerful little words: learn, try, stay and care. What difference can you make in your life today by putting these words to work?

Illusions
You build a world in your mind only through your intentions, your own thought processes. You go on building a castle: what the other person is thinking about you---they may not even think about you anything. You may simply not exist in other person's consciousness, for they are worried about themselves. But you build a big castle about what they are thinking about you in your mind.

Everything is Just a Thought
Wake up and realize this is all made up of thoughts, just thoughts, just thoughts. Your appreciation of beauty is a thought, your aversion to an object that is ugly is a thought. Your craving or aversion is nothing but a passing thought in the mind. Realize this is just a thought and you will be free.

Bad and Worse
Where is the choice? The choice is only between the bad and the worse. When you realize this you'll drop both those conflicting thoughts and relax---the awareness becomes choiceless. Choiceless-ness leads to confusionless state of mind. Choiceless awareness is the only joyful state, a peaceful state, a state without confusion.

Know Thought as Thought
Knowing a thought as thought brings the freedom. When you know a thought as a reality, that is when you are stuck.

Walls of Concepts
Your own concepts have created "walls" and so you need a "door." But when there are no concepts, there are no walls.

There was once a scientist. After a lot of practice & efforts, he developed a formula & learned the art of reproducing himself. He did it so perfectly that it was impossible to tell the reproduction from the original.

One day while doing his research, he realized that the Angel of Death was searching for him.

In order to remain alive he reproduced a dozen copies of himself. The reproduction was so similar that all of them looked exactly like him.

Now when this Angel of Death came down, he was at a loss to know which of the thirteen before him was the original scientist, & confused,he left them all alone & returned back to heaven.

But, not for long, for being an expert in human nature, the Angel came up with a clever idea.

He said to the scientist addressing all thirteen of them, "Sir, you must be a genius to have succeeded in making such perfect reproduction formula of yourself. However, I have discovered a flaw in your work, just one tiny little flaw."

The scientist immediately jumped out & shouted, "Impossible! where is the flaw?"

"Right here" said the Angel, as he picked up the scientist from among the reproductions & carried him off.

The whole purpose of the scientist & his formula of reproduction failed as he could not control his pride, so he lost his life.

So when man's Knowledge & Skills takes him to the top of the ladder & makes him successful, however the three letter word "EGO" can pull him down to earth immediately at its double speed.

So don't allow Ego to kill yourself,

Instead; KILL YOUR EGO..!!!

PostPosted: Mon May 11, 2009 7:53 pm    Post subject: It is the confidence which matters...... Reply with quote

A business executive was deep in debt and could see no way out. Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment.
He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy.
Suddenly an old man appeared before him.
"I can see that something is troubling you," he said. After listening to the executive's woes, the old man said, "I believe I can help you."
He asked the man his name, wrote out a cheque, and pushed it into his hand saying, "Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time." Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come.
The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world!
"I can erase my money worries in an instant!" he realized. But instead, the executive decided to put the un-cashed check in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought.
With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again.
Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the un-cashed check.
At the agreed-upon time, the old man appeared. But just as the executive was about to hand back the check and share his success story, a nurse came running up and grabbed the old man.

"I'm so glad I caught him!" she cried. "I hope he hasn't been bothering you. He's always escaping from the rest home and telling people he's John D. Rockefeller. "
And she led the old man away by the arm!!!
The astonished executive just stood there, stunned. All year long he'd been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had half a million dollars behind him!!!!

Suddenly, he realized that it wasn't the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around. It was his newfound self-confidence that gave him the power to achieve anything he went after!!!

A king offered a large prize to the artist who could best represent the idea of

peace. A lot of painters sent their works to the palace, depicting woods at dusk, quiet
rivers, children playing on the sand, rainbows in the sky, drops of dew on a rose petal.
The king examined everything that was sent to him, but ended up choosing
only two works.
The first showed a tranquil lake that perfectly mirrored the imposing
mountains surrounding it and the blue sky above. The sky was dotted with small
white clouds and, if you looked closely, in the left-hand corner of the lake there stood
a small house with one window open and smoke rising from the chimney - the sign
that a frugal but tasty supper was being prepared.
The second painting was also of mountains, but these were bleak and stony
with sharp, sheer peaks. Above the mountains, the sky was implacably dark, and from
the heavy clouds fell lightning, hail and torrential rain.
The painting was totally out of harmony with the other submissions. However,
a closer look revealed a bird's nest lodged in a crack in one of those inhospitable
rocks. In the midst of the violent roaring of the storm, a swallow was calmly sitting on
its nest.
When he gathered his court together, the king chose the second picture as the
one that best expressed the idea of peace. He explained:
'Peace is not what we find in a place that is free of noise, problems and hard
work; peace is what allows us to preserve the calm in our hearts, even in the most
adverse situations. That is its true and only meaning.'

Achieving your own happiness is the best measure of how well you are living your life and enjoying your relationships. You can learn how to be happier and more fulfilled in everything you do.

Everyone is Different

Happiness in life is like a smorgasbord. If 100 people went to a smorgasbord and each put food on their plate in the quantity and mix that each felt would be most pleasing to him, every plate would be different. Even a husband and wife would go up to the smorgasbord and come back with plates that looked completely different. Happiness is the same way. Each person requires a particular combination of those ingredients to feel the very best about himself or herself.

Listen to Your Heart

And your mix is changing continually. If you went to the same smorgasbord every day for a year, you probably would come back with a different plateful of food each time. Each day-sometimes each hour-only you can tell what it takes to make you happy. Therefore, the only way to judge whether a job, a relationship, an investment, or any decision, is right for you is to get in touch with your feelings and listen to your heart.

Be True to Yourself

You're true to yourself only when you follow your inner light, when you listen to what Ralph Waldo Emerson called the "still, small voice within." You're being the very best person you can be only when you have the courage and the fortitude to allow your definition of happiness, whatever it may be, to be the guiding light of every part of your life.

There Are No Limits

A very important point on the subject of happiness is whether or not you feel that you "deserve" to be happy.Accept the notion that you deserve all the happiness you can honestly attain through the application of your talents and abilities. The more you like and respect yourself, the more deserving you will feel of the good things in life. And the more deserving you feel, the more likely you will attain and hold on to the happiness you are working toward.

Make Happiness Your Key Measure

You should make happiness the organizing principle of your life. Compare every possible action and decision you make against your standard of happiness to see whether that action would make you happier or unhappier. Soon, you will discover that almost all of the problems in your life come from choices that you have made - or are currently making - that do not contribute to your happiness.

Pay the Price

Of course, there are countless times when you will have to do little things that don't make you happy along the way toward those larger things that make you very happy indeed. We call this paying the price of success in advance. You must pay your dues. Sometimes these interim steps don't make you happy directly, but the happiness you achieve from attaining your goal will be so great that it totally overwhelms the temporary inconveniences and dissatisfactions you have to endure in order to get there.

Action Exercises

Here are three steps you can take immediately to put these ideas into action.
First, accept that you deserve all the joy and happiness you can possibly achieve through your own efforts.

Second, make your own happiness the chief organizing principle of your life and judge everything against that standard.

Third, be willing to work hard and pay the price for the satisfaction and rewards you desire. Always go the extra mile and your success will be assured.

You walk until you come to the ocean. You don´t walk or run
in the ocean - you float and swim. Like this, once you come
to the Master, seeking stops, blossoming begins.
You seek until you come to the Master.
Seeking is a desire. Desire is a thought. Thoughts are in the mind.
The mind is in the Big Mind. The Big Mind in me is love. Emotions
are ripples in love. Love is all Knowledge. Every atom of the
Big Mind is crammed with Knowledge. Knowing this, you stop
seeking.
You are Knowledge. Every atom in you is shimmering with
Knowledge. In Sanskrit, this is called go. Go has four meanings:
* Knowledge
* Movement
* Achievement
* Freedom or liberation
Pal means friend or protector - one who takes care of you. Be a Gopal (go-pal); be a friend in Knowledge.
Often you become friends by:
* Gossiping about negative things
* Complaining
* Similar cravings or aversions
* Common enemies or common problems
* Common goals or common addictions
You become friends with someone because you have something in common. But coming together in
Knowledge is rare.
Be a friend in Knowledge. Uplift each other in Knowledge.
All satsangees are Gopals - reminding each other of the Knowledge, coming together for Knowledge.
