Hi,

Greetings from EmployAbility!

We are conducting an internal employment survey to study the various issues that persons with disabilities encounter in their work environment. The survey consists of a simple questionnaire consisting of a mix of open and closed ended questions, the answers to which will help us to get a comprehensive understanding of the issues, challenges and opportunities an employee faces from the initial stage of applying for a job to being selected for an interview process and further career growth in their present job.

The survey is only meant to be completed by persons who are already working or have worked earlier and is available at http://www.employability.co.in/disability-employment-survey.

We humbly seek your participation in this survey to help us further understand and overcome the challenges in employment of persons with disabilities. Your response will be much appreciated.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Note: Your personal information, including your organisation and your designation will be kept confidential and not be disclosed under any circumstances. The data collected will only be used for analytical purposes.

Warm Regards,

Sachin Verma | EmployAbility

Dear Administrator,

The Survey completely misses out the people who have become disabled and continue/ kicked out of the job and their present experience, of course yhey do not expect your job getting alone, burt half the management are ignorant and adament on implementing pwd. We Request you open a legal assistance cell to help those people who are fired or rotting in theit job

Thanks

Dear Mr. Iyer,

I completely understand your dissapointment with the questionnaire, and I admit that the questionnaire does not cover all aspects of Employment/Retention or Career Growth for persons with disabilities, but this survey is only a step towards understanding the situation better. I must also explain that the results of the survey and further brainstorming will help us in understanding the basic challenges that ensue a person with disability in reference to seeking and retaining employment. We do however intend to take this further by creating more focussed surveys which will help us study different situations in depth.

I appreciate your views and will definately forward them to my entire team, so that the the experiences of persons who become disabled in their existing jobs can also be taken care of in our next survey.

Best Regards,

Sachin Verma.
Team EmployAbility.

Dear Administrator,

Dear Karthikeyan Iyer,

As you are aware that an well known legal counsel is running under the auspicious with www.disabilityinida.org and doing their level best in solving the grievances with amicable settlement.  If opposite party does not come in to the preview for amicable settlement, then legal aid cell will move the matter to courts like high courts etc for redress.

Therefore in my opinion it is not necessasry to start up an fresh legal assistance cell at this stage, as you know "LITTLE IS GREAT" i.e. main route of a tree is must and consequent branches are not necessary in this regard.

with best wishes,
