Friends,
I am a middle aged lady,a polio victim
confined to the wheel chair.
One of my greatest blessings
has been my family.
I did my PG and now
I am employed in a bank.
As a physically challenged person,
accessability has been the biggest concern.
Accessability into vehilces,buildings,
toilets..the list goes on.
I came to know about this forum
from a newspaper.
It was a pleasant surprise to know that
in India too there are platforms like this where
one could share the issues with like-bodied people.
Hoping for a lot of useful exchanges...

HATS OFF TO YOU !!

Thanks both Rajiv and Shivani for your warm welcome.
I am just one of those to whom the almighty was a little
more considerate.
Whatever I am now the whole credit goes to my mother,
brothers, sisters and sisters in laws.
Hope to be with you here more often.

Hi Rajiv, Shivani, and Ma'am
Firstly a hearty welcome to Shree, and I must say (like Rajiv and Shivani already have) that it is completely our pleasure and honour to have you here !! I have also read your postings and found them really interesting, and I hope to see many more of them in the future. The link that you submitted (www.pedderjohnson.com) is also very useful and I got to pass it to someone looking for such assistive aids. You have already started contributing to someone who may be completely unconnected, that I guess is the beauty of this (and many other such) forum.
Last but not the least, Kudos to your family who have always been there for you!!
and once again, (like my friend Rajiv had already said),
Keep posting.... and surely the forum will Rock !!!!
Regards
Sachin

Thanks a lot Sachin!
I am happy somebody could find that link useful.
I know how much such little things
could mean to our lives at times.
