In an historic judgement delivered by Karnataka High Court recently ordered issue contempt notices to the Secretary, Medical Education Department and other officials for their refusal to comply with a court order directing the education department and the state for consider a seat in a post graduate course in dentistry to a physically challenged student.

A Division Bench comprising Justice Manjula  Chellur and Justice Y Jagannathan  passed the order and adjourned further hearing of the case.

It reports that disability act and policy were taken as a challenge in some one's agenda, hence fighting for justice is increasing day by day.  This is not a good practice, therefore we urge upon philanthropists that every one should accept disability be part of the society and be friendly, there will be no scope for moving unnecessary drastic action through legal litigations etc  Therefore it's better to take note in considering an AMICABLE issue like alternative dispute redress or to honor disability policy and Persons with Disability, Equal Opportunity and Protection Act 1995 by recognizing disability in all aspects of life.
