Dear Paralympian friends
We should be proud of our Achievements
We have own medals in Paralympics, FESPIC Games, IWAS Junior and Senior Games, Common Wealth Games 2006 and many other International Events.
You all know that because of our struggle ( the disabled sports persons) could able to achieve by getting Padma Award,Arjuna Award, Dronacharya Award and Life Time achievement award from the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, New Delhi.
1. It took nearly 20 years to achieve this. We are proud to say that,
2. We have own a Paralympic Gold Medal in Athletics at Athens Paralympcis 2004 where able body athletics could not do.
3. We have own Bronze medal in Power Lifting events in Paralympics in 2004 Athens. This could not have been achieved without your support. In the past and present we have own several medals in Athletics, Badminton, Powerlifting , Swimming Wheel Chair Fencing and Table Tennis at the International Level and have shown the world we can achieve this. We are developing the other sports also like, Wheel Chair Tennis, Wheelchair Basket Ball, Archary Sitting Volleyball Equstranian and other para sports.
4. All the three were mentally disturbed, has sleepless nights and made Mr. Javeed Abidi also sleepless nights. I wonder how Mr. Javeed Abidi has involved to this para sports. I can suggest better if he looks after employment for the disabled persons.
5. How much we are struggling to find a place in the Paralympics 2012, we have to undergo so many hurdels to reach to the Paralympics. To qualify in so many events is very difficulty. You are all aware that Mr. Pradeep Raj, Mrs. Swarana Raj and Mr. Javeen Abidi are mentall up-set they could not sustain the development of the Para-spsorts. Your whole hearted support will eradicate such bad elements from the society.
6. They are more worried about in and out of the Federation rathar than helping hand. Some wested persons are behind such elements and creating uneasyness among the disabled sports persons. They have already forged some of the signatures and made complaints about the Federation.
7.He is claiming to be a International Player when and where he had played the TT. He misusing his disability and also misguiding the other disabled sports persons. My sincere advise is that Be care full, let us not loose our ambition and achievements.
With Regards
Iyer Shankar

Dear Friends,
This is the biggest problem in this country. People play politics and fight power battles at the cost of the sports. Mr Gill is absolutely correct in trying to reign-in the IOA. What has Mr Kalmadi and Co produced? NIL, NIL, NIL. Every four years this country undergoes the Olympic humilation thanks to them. Abhinav Bindra got a gold, thanks to his father, boxers got medals, thanks to their coach. Col RVS Rathore got a silver, thanks to the support from the Army.
I attended the IWAS 09 World Games in Bangalore. The accomodation was excellent, food was unlimited and good. Yes there were problems, but what was the support given by the IOA, NIL, NIL, NIL. The NRAI promised to sent staff for the shooting competetion, but backed out only a day or two prior.
Army conducted the 1982 Asian Games for the country. World Military Games were held in Hyderabad. There was only accolades no brick bats. Why???? Because there was no politics and power struggle. Games were given the utmost importance and reputation of the country more importance.
Why can't we learn from good experiences and past mistakes. Why do we make them all over again?????????
