Hi all..........
I suggest that AccessAbility branches be opened in big cities like Kolkatta,Madras,Bombay,Banglore,Cochin,Hyderabad etc etc with its HEAD OFFICE being in Delhi.
If we try hard, some companies may come up to sponsor for it,a rich industrialists/filmstars/politicians who may grant us a land or a building to build AccessAbility centres, awareness given to the disabled, those unemployed will be given immediate job through the centres, petitions and grievances heard out,and many many more....so that their geographical location should not become a barrier or a problem for all.
I am finding it hard to digest AccessAbility functioning from Delhi and spreading us and helping us to the best of their knowledge...just how many staffs are there in AccessAbility Centre,Delhi to keep tabs on the disabled spread all over India????How long would they carry on???At least they too may need a helping hand all over.....How many of us could travel to Delhi every now and then when we feel like,to meet those who understands us better and provide us with hopes.....it would be easy if they have a branches spread all over......
Yeah, beginning will be tough...but when going gets tough, the TOUGH gets going.....!!!!!
Is Mr.Sachin, the co-founder and Ms.Shivani listening???????What do u say??????This will be the only way to get the government to get us noticed as well..........as the rest of the population!!!!If it happens,we will leave no stones unturned to make it into a success!!!!

Hi again,
Well, we have thought of a nice plan about how we can extend our services to a larger geographical spread and I will share it with everyone as soon as the operational feasibility is worked out.
To give you an insight, we are not thinking of taking expensive real estate space in each city to start a branch, even if (however unlikely) it is funded or sponsored, but something even better, where instead of taking from someone, we simply give back.... cant share it now, as we have to work out the modalities. I know not sharing the whole idea is the worst thing someone can do... but it was only a teaser, the rest is yet to be released.
But yet again, I think you have a very valuable suggestion.
Point taken......

It seems that the forum has gained a new momentum with leo girl. Her enthu is contagious.
BEWARE, I am already infected!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep on entertaining us and also the team with your suggestions.
I think volunteers are ready now in almost every big cities for working in Accessability branches. It is only up to the team to open them as early as possible.

Hello,Hi,Good Morn Srividyaa,
Am already spreading a GERM everywhere???(as u say,u are INFECTED!!!!)Ha,ha,let my VIRUS be CONTAGIOUS!!!!!!
It would be better if I am counted NOT as a volunteer but as a PART OF THE TEAM.Knowing the difficulties faced by the handicapped,I carries the memories of being rejected, not being understood, not being able to prove myself much as i told them to try me even once is too hard for me to forget...and am still undergoing, ever since I was 16 and set my foot alone in this bad mad world, trying to be independent!!!
Yeah,I did get a job here and there but it was the meagre salary that appaTled me as compared to the others working in the same posts as I was in.Things has changed now, with disabled getting the same salary at par with others but still few things has not yet changed....like the hesistant on part of the employer to try us out at least just for few days if not for a month!!!!And educational qualification being their utmost priority.
I can understand those who were unable to study further beyond Matriculation as I am too of that case....But i do have the POTENTIAL to do what am offered to do with the best of my ability and prove my worth, but still, they expect me to at least finish my Graduation.I was unable to continue my Grad due to financial reasons as I wasnt depending on my parents any more, neither am I relying on my husband to fund for my education...all I needed was a job so that I can continue with my higher studies...I had even told various employers that. They give an understanding nod and that is the last I hear from them.
Just a few days back I had gone for an interview with IBM Daksh,Mumbai.Everything came out perfectly.Typing speed of 30 wpm wasnt so bad for a starter with an accuracy of 98%....written test was good too, especially Grammar when I am excellent in.Mathematical knowledge,I did to the best of my ability using my brains even thou I was exempted from Maths in my tenth std.I had made it clear to the IBM team too. They were friendly and understanding as well, and all they asked me is why I need a job to which I replied that it was solely to fund for my education.4 days had passed and am yet to hear from them. They had given me a week's waiting time.
But this wholesome experience has given me a broad outlook of what goes with the disabled. And from the forum I come to know many many more things faced by the disability in temples, theatres et al.My angers know no bounds then and I want to make a world a better place for the handicapped who was at no fault of being a disabled on their own.Indian is develpoing, and I am DETERMINED to make sure there are AMENDMENTS in a disablity acts but I need a help of various organisations and people with disabilities to join hands with me.
It is too early to say now as I see AccessAbility is just a year old....but neither it is too late to begin.I will make sure that tomorrow's generations wont suffer and live with respect.......Thats my word to u all!!!!!!!!
Thats the main reason I want the AccessAbility Branches be open all over so that it would be easier that way.
