Hi Ravivinayak,
Many thanks for the suggestion and I really think that's a wise idea, but I really wish it was that simple... I too, like you would love everone to know about this site, and specially about this wonderfull discussion forum, but unfortunately advertising on FM is not a very economically viable option for us right now. It is very much on top of our heads though and hopefully you shall see and hear about us more often by next year.
But till then, I have another suggestion...
each one of our members is a medium, if each one of you spread the word around to everyone you know, who could benefit out of this discussion forum and our website, it will immensely help.
Think about it... and just do the needful.
Imagine, this website wasnt known to anyone when we started, but each member introduced new members and the domino effect takes over.
But I really appreciate your suggestion, and I mean it. I also promise that you will not be disappointed, you will hear us on FM and maybe also see us on the Tele, Newspapers, Magazines.. I am a true believer in the fact that hard work does not go unnoticed!
Keep writing

Am with u in this,Mr.Sachin.I have already given ur website links to many of them. And I told them, whether they understand or not, just go thru this site once.
As for Radio,it is fine for other disabled, but not for me,the hearing handicapped and the people like me.Yeah, magazines and papers are also the medium.
Dont worry, here in Mumbai,am trying my best as I can as I am loving this site and the co-operation that I got from u all!!!!

Hi Leo Gal,
I am glad you find this site interesting and moreover useful enough to ask your friend to have a look. My sincere thanks to you on that.
As for advertising on FM goes, I do understand its limitations for my Hearing Impaired friends and would have mentioned that in my reply earlier but instead said that you will see and hear about us..... which should work for most of us... right!!
But anyways, I am glad that our members are working hard to infuse the energy into this forum, which would not have been what it is, without any of you. We on the other hand are people who work from behind the scenes, more like the clap boys.... but its you guys who really drive AbilityForum.
I am very sure that yourself and all other members are already informing many others in your contacts about this forum, and we at AccessAbility really appreciate that.
Good Luck
and Keep Writing!
PS# Please dont call me MR. Sachin..., I already feel too old, and this only makes it worse :-)

You have made a mistake here.......... anyway we learn from experiences
Next time you see something of this sort and is called for an interview
Tell them that you have heard that such and such vacancy exists and you have applied for the same.
Then if they raise some surprises on you - let them know that that they have identified themselves as an equal opportunity employer........ take a copy of the advertisement with you............ down at the foot note of any advertisement of MphasiS its mentioned that We encourage applications from people with disabilities.
When things do not happen the way you expect dont lose heart............... God always has a plan for each and every one of his kids........... have faith pray and the best will soon come
Try with ITC Welcome Group. Caliber Point, Datamatics ( they have home based opportuntiies in Mumbai)
I too am hearing challenged......... have gone a long way to complete my post graduation, my diploma in business management and now am doing my post graduate diploma in HR. I refuse to take things lying down, I will always fight tooth and nail for my rights, and of course with the help of the famous three - Shivani, Vikas and Sachin

Hi Thomas,
No thanks either. We are friends, part of the team,a volunteer, whatever.Since I am a newcomer,I have to understand each and everyone's vocabulary/English Grammar. Not everybody's grammar has the same meaning. No problem,I will get used to it and will slowly understand u all.I am noting each and everything down in details naa.
Confide in me.Feels free to do so.I will be there to help in every way that I can.
Warm Regards,
Jyoti
