My child
You are as such a blessing, a miracle
to someone as naïve as me.
So, I wish and pray that you
Be as graceful as a swan,
As free and adventurous as a bird.
In following your dreams and ambitions,
As bright as sunshine.
Be as fearless and brave as a lion,
As it will help you overcome any
obstacle in life.
Be as hardworking and determined
as the ant.
Keep your heart as pure as a child
which you are,
As generous and forgiving as
Mother Nature,
As beautiful as the hue of colors at
sunset,
As mischievous as a monkey,
As soothing as the first rays of the
Sun.
Be a comfort to fellow beings like a
banyan tree,
Which has no bias and is prejudiced
against none.
Be as patient as a saint, ‘cause I
realized patience pays in life.
Cross any river or stream, climb any
mountain,
Venture into the unknown, till you
fulfil your dreams.
But thru’ all of life's journey,
You will find your mother and father,
willing and waiting
And praying to help you and guide you
In whatever you may choose to do
in life.

'WAQT NAHI '

Har khushi Hai Logon Ke Daman Mein,
Par Ek Hansi Ke Liye Waqt Nahi.
Din Raat Daudti Duniya Mein,
Zindagi Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Maa Ki Loree Ka Ehsaas To Hai,
Par Maa Ko Maa Kehne Ka Waqt Nahi.
Saare Rishton Ko To Hum Maar Chuke,
Ab Unhe Dafnane Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Saare Naam Mobile Mein Hain,
Par Dosti Ke Lye Waqt Nahi.
Gairon Ki Kya Baat Karen,
Jab Apno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Aankhon Me Hai Neend Badee,
Par Sone Ka Waqt Nahi.
Dil Hai Ghamon Se Bhara Hua,
Par Rone Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Paison ki Daud Me Aise Daude,
Ki Thakne ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.
Paraye Ehsason Ki Kya Kadr Karein,
Jab Apane Sapno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Tu Hi Bata E Zindagi,
Iss Zindagi Ka Kya Hoga,
Ki Har Pal Marne Walon Ko,
Jeene Ke Liye Bhi Waqt Nahi.........

Nice poetry by my friend sudipta banik for not answering my phone
