Team,

Can you pl be able to provide some informations about the new guide book launched recently in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. Cant able to find any details from the photo posted at Accessability home site.

Hello Srividyaa,

The 'Guidebook on Sporting and Recreational Activities for Persons with Disabilities' (authored by AccessAbility and published by the Office of Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) was released by Ms. Meira Kumar, Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment on 23rd April 2008 (the day before yesterday).

The book is a planning and design reference guide for authorities and other organisations who may want to create inclusive sporting and recreation facilities.

The guide is available free of cost from the Office of Chief Commisioner for Persons with Disabilities. Thier department is also trying to make it available online soon.
