PostPosted: Mon Feb 04, 2008 3:52 pm    Post subject: Post Ur Resume here Reply with quote

Let us get to know more better of you.U can post ur details in this forum leaving the personal details like addresse and mobile number/phone number unless u want.In that way,we would be able to know directly what u want, what u are,and what u expect from us.

I will begin with mine first to give u a brief idea of how u should type ur own details.I prefer not to disclose my mobile number and addresse unless neccessary. And since I am comfortable with email,I will type that down but as for chat id,that too will not be disclosed for ALL others to see on this public site.Only those known to me,or has been friendly with me thru this site can have my chat id if i want to give....as am weary about strangers because sometimes they make unneccessary demands thru chats.

Looking forward for ur positive responses.Hope u all will post the details of whatever u want to say about urself here too.

Warm Regards,
Jyoti

Hi Himanshu,

First of all,let me welcome u to AccessAbility Forum. You will NEVER feel out-of-place here!!!!

And for your eat, drink and be merry kind of philosophy,EARN first.Dont depend on your parents. You will find some job suitable for your type in this forum.Once you have money in ur hands from your own earnings, you will have EVERYTHING!!!!!The world will be at your feet.

I agree that we had become a charity case of the abled-bodied people. All they say is "I am sorry to hear that,it is so sad,may god help you...blah blah blah".Rather than talking about your disability, talk about what YOU CAN DO.And see their view change.

Keep posting.

Warm Regards,
Jyoti

Hi Himanshu,

I really wonder you thought of self employment. Let me share my experience although I was not disabled at the time of employment, but worst thing is I flunked in the final exams with worst marks and  due to Malarial fever.I felt very depressed and only passed with a second class. With No opportunity of getting any decent job, I Took the decision to get a sales job. I got a job paying me Rs.125/= and a counter sales of electrical goods . Then I learned data entry operations and got contracts paying me sufficient money. From that till I had stroke I was IT  Incharge of  Regional Office Of National Insurance. Now I have preferred to be posted in my home town, and is idle. Now I have started thinking of a car hire scheme. There is no word like Effort.

You are young man, you can start . Have a will. Do not Expect a Government job, Or any sympathy, When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Gets Going. You can Try any of the small business training by Govt/NGOS.They will Guide you

Good Luck

hi Himanshu,

I can understand the frustation o not having a job cause I have been through it. I became disabled at the beginning of my career and my employers refused to take me back on job after a disabling accident. I still remember those days when I was struggling to rehabilitate myself after an spinal injury, understand what it meant to be disabled and wondering what my future had for me.... I was a hotel mgt graduate working in a hotel before my accident.

There was a ime when I used to sell hand painted greeting cards at fairs....Even now after 16 yrs I cannot say I am all settled with a ideal job/business. Even today every day is a challenge I live up to, but yes I enjoy it all now.

Jyoti....I love your spirit and it seems to be permeating into the forum too (a silent member like me now feels like posting)
