Hello all,

Its nice to see the active and involved dialogues going on in this forum. I work at a disability research institute in the United States, where we focus on policy, employment, and assistive technology issues. I have an academic background in both engineering and rehabilitation counselling and some work experience in vocational counselling, independent living, and website accessibility.

While I enjoy the research I do, it cannot fulfill the need to see real initiatives take off on the ground that can truly empower people with disabilities in India, result in sound policy changes, and advocacy to ensure social and economic inclusion. Hence I hope that by joining such forums I can contribute towards action and practical problem solving.

I am enjoying reading all the discussions and looking forward to being an active member.
