International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports (IWAS) are due to be held in Bangalore in last week November and First week December. The mascot was inaugurated recently.Unfrotunately due to lack of prior advertising I could not attend, as many others who possibly wanted to may not have.  Same was the case with the newly launched Football  association. I request all concerned persons to insure that thereis adequate publicity so that interested persons can be made aware.

Dear Friends,

It gives me great pride to inform all of you that the Indian Contingentwon 110 medals in the World Games, including 32 Golds. Second only to China with 42 Golds. However total medals are 30 more than China. Yours truly won a bronze medal in Golf. Team India won the Golf Gold with Col Rawat taking the Gold. Silver went to Korea.

hi to all,
this to share with you that our team of Disabled(Handicap) Sports persons  from Delhi took part in International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports (IWAS) in last week of November and won four medals(two silver and two bronze) in different events. And our sports persons of TT reached up to the fourth position in wheelchair TT.
It is great success by our players by having not as much of support from the Govt. or other institutes but still they are giving their best.
Many of them are not involved in any gainful employment just due to not having any higher/routine education. All the employers want their employee to be the best in all the terms of qualification/ education/ experience etc. here we disabled people find ourselves on grass hood. So they have to face many problems in their live in regard with getting education, employment and rehabilitation etc. but we are fully motivated and positive for their support on any ground and seek the support from our cultured society as they are working hard with their small equipments.
Lets wish them best for their next event................................
THIS IS A SUPPORT OF THE DISABLED BY THE DISABLED FOR THE DISABLED
