Do you know guys that our Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is well accessible. Physically accessible toilets as well as ambulift facilities for disabled travelers are available. There is also a special parking area for disabled travelers.

Thats great Vishal, Its good to know that our Airport is accessible. However, there is scope for much improvement in the staff attitude, trainings and information availability besides just physical accessibility. The delhi airport which is being redeveloped by DIAL (Delhi International Airports Ltd, a public private partnership) will need to address all the issues related to accessibility and staff trainings etc, as this is just the right time for any changes to come about, once the development is complete it will not only be costly but also very difficult to bring about any changes. I hope DIAL has incorporated accessibility in the new redevelopment plans it has for the Delhi airport.
